Outdoor Magic Hickory 3kg Smoking Chunks are a long-lasting, slow and steady source of smoke, infusing your barbecue food with a strong yet sweet bacon-flavouring. Hickory Smoking Chunks add a nice, strong flavour to just about all meats, but pairs especially well with beef, pork and ribs.
Outdoor Magic Smoking Chunks burn slower than smoking chips and are a steady source of smokey flavouring. One or two chunks (each about the size of an egg) will be enough to enhance the flavour of an average serve of meat.
Tips for Use
When using smoking chunks, add one to two pieces at the start of the cooking cycle and they should last the entirety of an average length cook. This means you will not have to open the unit and disturb the smoke or let it escape.
If you plan to cook for a longer period of time, you may need to add more throughout the cooking time to get a more substantial flavour on all meat.
